Temperia: Soul of Majestic on Steam.

In Temperia, players build their own decks consisting of 20 creature cards and 20 equipment cards; players use these decks to challenge other online users and test their specially curated decks. A key differentiator of Temperia versus other online card games is that all cards are presented face-up, allowing players to strategize based on their opponents' creatures.

The main goal of this campaign was to draw users to the Steam store page and gain players of the game. With the hope of engaging viewers in the game, creatures, and items depicted in the game spring forth from Temperia card faces, inviting users to add the game to their Steam wishlist.

How can we drive traffic toward the T:SoM Steam page and subsequently gain wishlists?

PROBLEM TO SOLVE

Create a series of advertisements demonstrating some key in-game features while ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.

SOLUTION

The aim of this series was to bring Temperia, an online deck-building game, to life by pairing the cards themselves with background environments that relate back to the creature or item featured.

With the hope of enticing some new players to wishlist the game, both in and out of the deck-building enthusiast community, there needed to be a more three-dimensional element that put the cards into a new context. To achieve this, I illustrated environments that related back to each featured card, bringing them into a more active space than a typical deck-builder UI may be able to offer visually.
